The De Vrouwe van Stavoren Hotel is an unusual hotel, built out of four wine barrels, reconstructed into the comfortable rooms. It is located in the Netherlands on the pier of one of the old ports of Stavoren.
These barrels were brought from Switzerland and once they contained 14,500 liters of Beaujolais from the French cellars, and now are rooms designed for two persons with an attached bathroom and a living room. Each room has a bed, TV, radio and a telephone. Furthermore, according to Euromag, a tourist can choose by himself in which barrel he wants to stay: of the white wine or the red one.
The cost of a stay varies from 60 to 119 Euros per night, with a 75% discount in low season.
