The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro has long ago gained international fame and recognition. This is the biggest, colorful, emotional, bright and "hot" holiday in Brazil, the participants of which are representatives of different schools of samba. The locals prepare their children for the carnival since childhood, and clothing stores offer fancy dresses even for year-old babies.
Energetic rhythms of samba, paillettes, feathers and skimpy costumes of the participants of theatrical show bring the audience into a state of sincere delight. The parade takes place in the heart of the city on the Sambadromes, where the famous samba schools fight for the title of the winner. Each school demonstrates its skills during 80 minutes to the sound of drums, while singing their anthem. The main goal of the dancers is to reveal the content of their presentation with costumes and dance. Judge will decide the best of them.
This year the carnival will start on February 8.
