The country experiences a tropical climate which has two seasons one wet season and another dry season. The wet season occurs from October to March while the dry season occurs from April to September. The climatic conditions of the country vary with altitude. You find that rainfall is normally heavy in the areas along the coast but along the north and south the rainfall is minimal. The annual precipitation varies between 500mm and 900mm depending on where the area is located. The average precipitation is 590 mm. During the wet season Cyclones are experienced and the temperatures ranges are 13 to 24 °C in July to 22 to 31 °C in February. Culture and Holidays. The culture of Mozambique is diversified in different fields. One of the fields is music. Music in Mozambique is used in religious and traditional ceremonies. The musical instruments are drums, lupembe which is a woodwind instrument and Marimba, which is the most popular instrument in the country.
