Mombasa is the name of a city in the nation of Kenya. It is located on the coastal area, facing the ocean. Its coastal location is why it is largely known as a port city with a lot of ocean transportation coming in. In Kenya, this city is the second-most populous, with over one million citizens residing therein. The city is a huge centre of economic and commercial activity, as well as a hub of culture. Since it’s on a coast, there’s a huge port. This city has been a train city all throughout history since it’s by the ocean.
The city of Mombasa is in a tropical zone location. The weather here is both wet and dry. There is a season that is wetter than usual; this rainy season is usually around summer, between April and May, with drier times occurring in the beginning of the year. The high average for temperature values are usually close to 30 degrees centigrade, while the lower average degree values are between 20 and 23, generally.
The economy of Mombasa is thriving, as the city’s big port and large airport bring a lot of commerce through the country. Kenya’s only sea port is in this city. The city is also a big centre for tourism and visitation from people from all over the world.

Local music plays a big role in this nightlife. Aside from this, there is a significant sports presence, with a prominent football club in the national football league.
