Hong Kong (English name - Victoria) is a city, administrative center of the territory of Hong Kong, located on the Hong Kong Island, opposite the city of Kowloon, separated from it by a narrow strait (a rail and ferry transport tunnel). It is home to 1.2 million inhabitants. Hong Kong is a major trade, financial and transportation center of East Asia. Port capacity is above 31 million tons. There is an international airport. The city has garment, textile, plastic, electronic, electrical, petrochemical, shipbuilding and other industries. It attracts a lot of tourists. There are also a subway and a University in Hong Kong.
