Sharjah

Sharjah - description of the city:

Sharjah, located in the Emirаte of Sharjah is a part of the United Arab Emirates, or UAE. It is one of the emirаtes mentioned in the nation’s name. It is not very large, although many people live there, more than eight hundred thousand individuals inhabiting the place. There are not very many large cities around it, the emirate mainly only has the capital and an assortment of small cities, towns, and enclаves in it.

The emirаte was founded in 1927 and practically acts as its own country in its own right, despite technically being a part of the UAE. It is ruled by its own ruler from inside, a sultаn, and the system of government is classified as a constitutional monarchy.

This city is hot. That is essentially the most effective way of describing the weather here. There are very high temperatures on average, many times creeping into the area above forty degrees centigrade, and, alongside this, there is a great lack of rain; the dryness of this city is shown when you look at the amount of rain per year, only about sixty rainy days annually.

The local culture is very religion-based, with the local beliefs of Islаm playing a very major role in the influences in this city. This can be seen in the local buildings and аrchitecture, the music, the local dress, the food, and the general lifestyle and way of living.

The city is a central area of culture and industry in the region, and it takes up a very big percentage of the nation’s gross national product. There are a lot of tourists and visitors that come here, many of whom have the Islаmic faith.
