St. Pierre-de-Clages

St. Pierre-de-Clages is a little village in the country of Switzerland. It is situated in the French-speaking area of Valais, in the Chamoson municipality.

The St. Pierre-de-Clages village was merged with the Chamoson municipality in the late 1300s. It is well known for its church, built in the 11th century, and the church has an octagonal bell tower.

The village is also famous because it has a yearly book festival, and it is referred to as the Swiss book town.
