The overall average temperature per month is generally around the same, with each month all displaying the common temperature values of around 23-27 as a mean high temperature, and between 9-13 degrees usually on the low side. The city does not experience much rainfall additionally, with the most rain coming in the months of April and November, but usually, the rain is not much.

Geographically, the city is between a valley on its eastward side, and a series of hills westward. Also, in this city, both mountains Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro are very close, being to the north and southeast respectively. The city is also crossed by Nairobi River and its attached streams.

As this is a big city, there’s a lot to do. There is a huge national park within the designated city area. This natural reserve houses many species of animals native to the country. In addition to this park, the city has museums to visit, as well as galleries, displays of artifacts, and monumental areas. There are also markets, shopping malls, markets, and restaurants where people can sample local dishes. These are all very popular with tourists, who often visit this city.
