Frankfurt am Main - description of the city:

Frankfurt am Main is most often called Frankfurt. It is the 5th biggest city in the country of Germany. It is also the biggest city in Hessen, one of the German states. The population of the city is around 687,775 in the administrative boundaries. The urban area of the city has a population of around 2,500,000. In continental Europe, Frankfurt offers the largest financial center and is one of the world’s leading financial centers. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the Deutsche Bundesbank, and European Central Bank are all located in the city. There are several other large commercial banks in the area as well. European Central Bank consists of 18 European union member states and acts as the central bank for the Eurozone.

Frankfurt is a major center of banking and finance. It’s interesting to see some of the biggest banks and institutions in Germany. The city has a really big population, so you will have a lot of opportunities to meet interesting people in the city.

The central location of Frankfurt within Europe and Germany makes it a major air, rail, and transport hub. The city airport is one of the busiest airports in the world and is the main hub of Lufthansa, which is the country’s flag carrier and is the largest airline of Europe. Since the city is a major transportation hub, you will have a number of opportunities to meet interesting people coming in and out of the city. The city not only has a big population, but it has a lot of people coming in and out all the time.

The city is also the center for culture, commerce, education, web traffic, and tourism. One of the biggest trade fairs in the world, Messe Frankfurt, offers 578,000 square meters of space with 10 exhibition halls with an attached convention center and a central logistics center. You definitely want to see Messe Frankfurt if you are visiting Frankfurt, so time your visit around the trade show.

There are over 30 museums in the city and many of them are considered to be internationally prestigious. There are 20 museums that are a part of the riverbank museums, this means that they are located on the front side of both areas of the main part of the riverbank in the city, or they are very closely located to the river. There are so many different museums in Frankfurt, and it is one of the major museum-filled cities in Germany. Hamburg is another one. It’s always interesting to see German museums, and it is a smart idea to download apps for your smartphone that provide further information on displays and exhibits in the museums. Downloading apps on your smartphone is a lot smarter and easier than buying a guidebook for the city’s museums. You won’t look like a tourist if you’re just looking at your smartphone. Holding a smartphone will be a lot less cumbersome than holding a tourist guidebook.
