East London is the name of a city in South Africa, which lies on the southeast edge of the country, by the oceanfront. The city is also set in between two rivers that lead out towards the Indian Ocean, and it is in the eastern cаpe province. Today, the city has more than two hundred thousand people living in its area.

The climatic conditions of the city are humid, and the city is in a sub-tropical zone, meaning the weather is usually pretty hot, with average temperatures going from twenty to thirty degrees, with record highs able to go up into the forties in extreme cases. The rainfall is usually below average, only a standard of eighty four rainy days a year. The driest part of the year is the wintertime.

Economically, the city stands out in its province. Particularly significant is the mоtor industry. Other ventures in this area include tеxtiles, medicine, and food.

Sports is huge in this city, with a host of events taking place almost all the time, making sure those who live here always have something to watch. Cricket is a very popular event that takes place here, with casual games as well as a huge league. Another big thing here is track and field, with triathlon and marathon events happening regularly.
