Antananarivo - description of the city:

Antananarivo (“city of a thousand warriors”) is the capital of Madagascar, which the locals call simply and affectionately - Tana. The city is situated at an altitude from 1240 to 1470 meters, in a valley between two hills, where low houses climb the steps of its slopes, forming a real labyrinth of alleys, arches, terraces, balconies and stairs.
